The king's plan made his concubines and children from the concubines feel jealous. Therefore, they conspired to expel Kandita Princess and Empress from Pakuan Palace.

Until finally one day, concubines of Prabu Siliwangi and their sons and daughters held a secret meeting to get rid of Princess Kandita. After holding talks, they finally agreed to hire a black magician to enchant Princess Kandita and her mother. They then told a court lady to meet a black magician in a hut in the middle of the forest, quite far from the Pakuan palace.

The lady immediately went to the house of the black magician. After explaining the purpose of his arrival, the lady in hand then handed over a number of gold coins to the shaman. Without thinking, the shaman immediately agreed to the concubines' evil request.

After the lady returned to Pakuan palace, the shaman immediately carried out his duties. With the black magic he had, the dukun bewitched Princess Kandita and her mother with leprosy so that their whole bodies that were originally smooth and clean, had ulcer wounds and gave off an unpleasant smell.

Leprosy that befell Princess Kandita and empress's mother made a palace uproar. Prabu Siliwangi ordered the doctors to cure them both. But none of the doctors could treat them. The pain of these ulcers made the queen's mother's body weak, until finally the empress let out her last breath. This incident made Princess Kandita and Prabu Siliwangi very sad.

This situation is not wasted by concubines and their sons and daughters. They agreed to incite King Siliwangi to immediately expel Princess Kandita from the palace on the grounds that Putri Kandita would have a bad influence on the Pakuan palace.

Of course Prabu Siliwangi could not accept the suggestion because he was so sad to Princess Kandita. But because the concubines continued to press him, the king was reluctantly forced to expel Princess Kandita from the palace. Prabu Siliwangi then summoned Princess Kandita and asked her to leave the palace, Pakuan Pajajaran, so that the kingdom of Pakuan would avoid havoc.

Putri Kandita accepted Prabu Siliwangi's decision. With a broken heart, Princess Kandita left the palace Pakuan. He walked according to where his feet stepped without a definite direction and purpose. After days of walking, Putri Kandita arrived on the south coast. Poor King Siliwingi's daughter was confused where to go again. In front of him was a wide and deep ocean. Nor could he return to the palace. Feeling tired, Princess Kandita finally fell asleep.
